I have been to this location yearly for several years now for family holiday and loving it. The villa is old style, if you want luxury this may not be for you, but if you, as me, want the authenticity of a Tuscan villa dating back to the early 20th century, this is for you. The villa have several large and beautiful bedrooms, a simple but well functioning kitchen, a large common room and several toilets. The location is magnificent, with a beautiful view over the Tuscan landscape. The owners are even more magnificent. This year, I went to the villa in early spring for a writing retreat and in was a splendid time.

From the moment we arrived at Villa Cicogna, we knew our stay would be unforgettable. The property is stunning, blending authentic Tuscan charm with modern comforts. The villa was spotlessly clean, beautifully furnished, and offered breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside.

Every detail was thoughtfully taken care of – from the fully equipped kitchen to the inviting outdoor spaces perfect for relaxing with a glass of wine. The swimming pool and outdoor spaces were immaculate and created the perfect atmosphere for rest and enjoyment.

A special thank you to Michelle for her guidance and help throughout – she truly made our stay seamless and even more memorable.

Villa Cicogna is the ideal place for both relaxation and exploring the beauty of Tuscany. We left with wonderful memories and can’t wait to return. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking a truly special holiday experience.

We have had three summers in the villa - this year for two weeks - and we love it and the ambience thar the owners bring to the visitors. Columb and Michelle are great hosts! We like the simplicity of the Villa, its old with real roots, it not being redone inside to something top-modern is something we really, really like - and come back for.

The owner is very kind and always available. The Villa is really very beautiful and the rooms are large and bright. The swimming pool, of course, is a really important plus. Unmatched quality/price!

The owners of this private villa gave us a warm and personal welcome – even though we arrived as late as 11:30 PM. They kindly offered us dinner, which truly touched us. The next morning, we were treated to a freshly prepared breakfast. Honestly, it felt like staying in a royal residence!

We received a very warm welcome from the landlords, they were always available (also via Whatsapp) and were always ready to help with advice and good tips. Although the location was remote (everything was only accessible by car), it offered a fantastic view over the Tuscan countryside and was within an hour's drive of Florence, Siena, Arezzo, hiking areas and much more. The old house had a lot of charm, the doors were old, the ceilings were high, yet it had a well-functioning heating system and great bathrooms.

Above the hills of Tuscany lies this very special place, an old villa, with spacious rooms, stylishly furnished in its tradition and with a large terrace overlooking the wide valley. The surrounding area invites you to go on wonderful tours into the nearby mountains of Pratomagno and its villages, whether on foot or by e-bike. I enjoyed that so much! But what made this stay particularly enjoyable and more special, were the two hosts, Michelle and Columb, with their exceptional kindness and great helpfulness. Thank you for that! Perfect and relaxing stay.
I stayed in this amazing structure with my girlfriend for just one night, but instantly fell in love with it. Michelle and Columb are one of the kindest and most available hosts I've met, they really make you feel special. The Villa has a unique beauty and charm, with a mesmerizing terrace and bedrooms. You feel like suspended in time and the price/quality ratio is just incredible. We'll definitely come back, now we have a new love nest. Thanks a lot Michelle and Columb😁

Very good and relaxing
The location of the accommodation and the hospitality of the owners were excellent and the were very friendly with us. The building was very authentic and the atmosphere was very good. It was good that we had the opportunity to cool down after a hot day in the pool on the terrace.

Wonderful hosts who set us up with food the first night, & suggested lots of local excursions and activities. Lovely location - ideally situated for trips to Florence, Siena & local country side. At the end of each day it was a treat to relax in the pool.

Great holidays at Chianti
Spacious apartment, very comfortable beds with very good quality sheets. Well equipped kitchen. Available BBQ option. Indoor playroom for kids. You can easily reach out to Arezzo or Siena by car. If you go to Firenze - best way is to take train from Montevarchi and leave your car at free 🅿️ parking next to 🚊 station. Last but not least lovely hosts Michelle and Columb welcoming you that you feel like at home

I booked Villa Cicogna as a base for a group, we were driving around Tuscany and Villa Cicogna was ideally placed for us to get around the region, and to drive down into Umbria. I'd spoken to Michelle and Coulomb, the owners, and was struck by their love story and how they'd bought the house, but wasn't prepared for quite how imposing it is. At the end of the small village by the same name, Cicogna, the villa sits on impressive ramparts, once part of the village fortifications, that support an enormous terrace, and contain some magical old wine vats and cellars - ask the owners to show you around! The villa itself is both simple and grandiose in equal measure, with some old-fashioned furniture and fittings and a simple kitchen - but everything works. Large bedrooms with enormous windows look out over the countryside and in the evening fireflies dance among the cypress trees below the terrace.

We had a super time at your villa, what an enchanting and magical place Villa Cicogna is and what wonderful hosts Michelle and Columb are.

The rooms were very comfortable for our group of 9 people, we took the whole upstairs of the property which has generous space and the beds were very comfortable!

The views across the vineyards were amazing and the break felt really restorative.

We really enjoyed the excursions and experiences that the hosts facilitated for us, we really felt like we got a sense of being a local and got under the skin of Tuscany.

I would not hesitate to give a 5 star review and look forward to returning soon.

If you are looking to instantly unwind and relax then Villa Cicogna is the place for you. The views are spectaculay and beds extremely comfortable. The kids had plenty of space to run around: there were plenty of games (including swing ball) and a large games room with a darts board for the occasional rain shower. When done with relaxing, the villa is an excellent base for exploring Florence, Sienna, San Gimignano, Arezzo, Loro Ciuffenna, and the list goes on. Tuscany is a treasure trove of beautiful and inspirational places to explore and re-explore.
Columb and Michelle are the perfect hosts, with gentle suggestions and local knowledge on how to make the most of your visit to this sensational part of the world. We can’t wait to come back next year.

Just to say thank you so, so much for all your input to make our visit to Tuscany last week such fun and so memorable.  Tuscany is always beautiful but it would not have been the same without your contacts and local knowledge – not to mention your company.

You have quite a project on your hands but with such a lovely villa in such a wonderful location you cannot fail.  If you have such a peach to start with then it can only get better.  I wish you both all the luck in the world – and look forward to watching your progress over the coming few years – and maybe even returning to see how it is all going.

We visited Villa Cicogna in Terranuova Bracciolini in August 2022. A lovely, spacious accommodation with a huge sun-drenched terrace. Our kids had a lot fun in the pool. The accommodation is great, with a magnificent view of the countryside. The location is perfect for exploring the surrounding area - pure Tuscany! A short walk leads directly to the nearest shop. Wir haben die Villa Cicogna in Terranuova Bracciolini im letzten Jahr besucht. Eine schöne, geräumige Unterkunft mit einer riesigen sonnendurchfluteten Terrasse. Unsere Kinder hatten viel Spaß im Pool. Die Unterkunft ist top, mit einem grandiosen Blick auf die Landschaft. Die Lage ist perfekt, für Ausflüge in die nähere Umgebung -Toskana pur! Greetings from Saxony!

What a beautiful place! A few days spent at Villa Cicogna was the perfect way to experience Italy and life in the beautiful Tuscan countryside. The scenery and far reaching views from the terrace were breathtaking and certainly live in the memory. Everything about Villa Cicogna was so authentic - I loved it! and I loved the pomegranate tree at the top of the terrace! Visited Florence for a day, the Chianti wine region and we simply enjoyed the quiet relaxation at the Villa with great food and wine. Really hoping to be back before long!
